We have recently resumed our walks although not always weekly, mostly due to attendance or weather. We usually send out an eMail on a Sunday with details of the walk taking place on the Tuesday.
We meet on Tuesday mornings in the Callington Free Car Park at 9.30am unless eMailed differently. The walks are usually between 2 and 4 miles and sometimes include a coffee/tea stop or lunch depending on the distance travelled away from Callington.
Members are asked to contribute a small donation when car sharing to help with the cost of petrol, car parking or toll charges. Suggestions for future walks are needed from Walkers 2 members. Contact for Wakers 2 is Helen Redden who can be contacted by email from the link above.
Only one walk for February which was to Siblyback. The weather behaved itself and it was really nice to be out and about for a change as we hadn't done a walk since last December.
Our walks in March included a lovely stroll by the beach at Seaton, plus a couple of other walks which have have taken us to Saltash, Roadford Reservoir and a new walk from Coypool car park along by the railway line. Just for a change, we only had to cancel one walk this month due to the weather.
Unfortunately due April's bad weather - April showers and all that - plus the visit to The Box, (see the separate report on the Events page), we didn't get out as much as we would normally like, But we did manage to fit in a couple of return trips to Tre Pol Pen and to Cotehele to see the Bluebells.

Our walks in May took us to Luckett, Lanhydrock, and Seaton, alongside the River Seaton flowing through the woods. The weather was lovely, so a walk on the beach had to be done afterwards. "Oh I do love to be beside the seaside"!
Unfortunately we had to cancel the walk on 27th May to Siblyback due to heavy rain.
