We normally go to a pub or other eating establishment following the Monthly Meeting on the first Monday of each month. All members who have signed up to our Pub Lunch Group will be emailed with details of next month's venue and menu., Most venues require our choices in advance. as they have limited space for group bookings, which means that the first members to reach the allocated number with their menu choices will have a place. However we do maintain a Reserve list, although first come, first served. For further details please contact Jo Earl using the email link above.
So far this year, with a dozen or so regular Pub Lunchers, we have happily lunched at various local venues. Some of which we've visited previously, some we'd go back to again, and maybe one or two where maybe we weren't totally convinced.
In January we started this year's Pub Lunches at "The Bull's Head. This was followed through from month to month by lunching at "The Engine House", "The Weary Friar", " The Calli Pizza Daytime Café", (which really was rather good), and up to date in June at "The Swingle Tree". In July we will once again be lunching at "Louis Tearooms",
Our Pub Lunches are a happy chatty couple of hours getting away from it all, or perhaps putting the world to rights, but usually our "ladies who lunch" well outnumber the gentlemen who occasionally lunch. So come on guys, have a chat to Jo and reserve your place and menu choices, switch off, and join us.
