Rummikub Words, or Rummikub Numbers? You Choose!
Rummikub is a tile based game for up to 4 players. combining elements of Rummy & Mahjong, or Scrabble if playing Rummikub Letters.
Rummikub Numbers, or Rummikub Letters, both are easy games to play, and we have several sets of each, and even Rummikub "Wth a Twist".

Our Rummikub Group, we have to say,, is yet another u3a Group where not only are we having fun, we are using our brains as well. As u3a HQ like to tell us, "Live Laugh, and Learn". What could be better? We have Rummikub WORD, we have NUMBERS, and we have TWIST, so you pays yer money, and takes yer choice !!.
All the games are easy to pick up and we have “experts” in our midst to teach or just help. You will be amazed that you haven’t taken part before.

Rummikub is a friendly and fun loving Group, not to mention having a "propensity" (a good Rummikub word) to indulge in "friendly" banter from time to time. Rummikub is also ticking along very nicely. Our band of merry players are complete stalwarts,never missing a meeting. That’s what Rummikub gives you, DEDICATION ! And occasional Brain Ache, or more probably Brain Fog.

different games,,,,,., 1 x numbers game and 2 x word game. Both equally as intriguing and thought provoking. You could do yourself a favour and give us a go. We 're a pretty motley crew including beginners, professionals and nearly theres. You might even enjoy yourself in between coffees, teas and
biscuits. Go on, treat yourself, we won’t bite (not on your 1st time anyway). Although Sue might just !!!
Us Rummikub "Word" players always play very collaboratively, and when in doubt for the efficacy of a word, we have oft't imes resorted to checking it's propensity - there's that good Rummikub word again - to be admissible as a Rummikub word by resorting to the ubiquitous online Scrabble Word Checker. But our omnipotent She Who Must Be Obeyed has now supplied two editions of the Uni oversized version of the OED, to make sure that we observe both the letter and the spirit, and indeed the ubiquity of the Rummikub rules and regs. Not wanting to suffer the ignominy of bites all round, our concurrence will be absolute.

Our Rummikub group has a great number of members who love the game and we have been meeting at the town hall for over 4 years, run by Sue McMunn. Our players love the games, and even those who were very unsure of playing have come on in leaps and bounds. We meet twice a month on the 1st and 3rd Fridays at 10.30am in the Council Chamber of the Town Hall. I’m not sure if it’s the biscuits and cake that keep everyone returning or the fun we have with the words that pop up!!! Actually, Rummikub is still ticking along very nicely.
